We are so privileged to live in one of the most beautiful places in British Columbia. While other areas get kind of boring from October to December, our home area is full of action. This year 2018 about 35000 eagles are counted, coming from the frozen streams and lakes of Alaska to feast on the dead spawned-out salmon carcasses that litter the Chehalis Flats. My wife and I set the alarm many days real early to get out “eagle-hunting”, rain or shine. Every time it’s exciting to watch their swift movements and their amazing innocent nature. While we discover new “secret” gathering places, the very few photos displayed on this website are just samples of hundreds of photos we’ve taken these last 4 weeks.
