Thank you for joining us on this journey through God's creation. I would like to introduce our team for a moment. My name is Burkhard Kraas. Photography is around for me since I had my first Kodak Retina for my 10. birthday. A light-meter helped me at that time to take decent photos. When I bought my first Nikon F2s I intended to become more serious in photography but after a couple of years life became so busy with family, work and million other things. Now fast-forwarding everything to today; Photography certainly changed completely and has gone many steps higher than in the good old black/white days. Digital capture is the best photographic technological advancement since the advent of colour film. I am retired now and together with my wife Dorothea we just obtained our degree in photography and are feeling now more confident and professional. Wherever we are, we use our cameras to create lasting memories, which we share with you on this site. Enjoy!

My name is Dorothea Kraas and through my husband I learned to appreciate art and photography. He inspired me over our 49 years of happy marriage in many ways and while we are now retired, we decided to do more things together and create memories, not for ourselves but also for others. He is the more technical part of our team, while I am more the artistic part, so that we really complement each other.
